The Goals are:
- To offer remedial courses in English and Mathematics for less prepared students and help them achieve the expertise required to undertake undergraduate studies.
- To offer courses in general education required for a sound and balanced associate degree program.
- To impart skills of good communication, so that students are able to speak and write effectively and with confidence.
- To build basic foundations in Mathematics to enable students use it as a tool for pursuing other disciplines.
- To introduce to them the diversity in human social behavior that will allow them to be more effective citizens of the world.
- To develop critical thinking that will reflect in the manner in which they solve problems and make decisions.
- To teach them to conduct research, distinguish between primary and secondary sources, evaluate ideas and thus be able to express complex views clearly and emphatically.
- To teach them about the history and culture of the Middle East .
