Terms and Conditions for acceptance of students on ECMIT Sponsorship

Students requiring college sponsorship should meet the local laws and regulations regarding visa and immigration formalities. Visa Assistance: Student visas are provided by the college. The administration expenses will be paid at the time of registration

CONDITIONS AND REQUIERMENTS:

• Students under college sponsorship must enroll as full time students attending at least two semesters per year.
• One year nonrefundable fees to be paid in advance upon acceptance and before the visa is issued.
• International Students are required to pay a registration fee of Dhs . 4500/-
• A refundable deposit of Dhs 1000/-
• Students on college sponsorship cannot undertake employment as per labor law of UAE.
• Administrative expenses for one year residence visa – Dhs 1500/-
• Annual renewal charges Dhs 1500/-

Medical expenses to be borne by the students. STEPS:

• Passport with receipts of payments made and complete set of documents, to be submitted for visa application
• 1 week to 10 days for visa to be issued.
• Complete the medical test at a government medical center.

Submit the original Passport, new visa, medical certificate and 3 photographs to the college for stamping the visa in the passport. The processing time will be 2 weeks.

VISA CANCELLATION CHARGES:

The student is requested to pay Dhs 250/-. IMPORTANT: The passport will be kept with the college and a copy is given to the student. If in case the student requires his/her passport for any reason he/she will have to deposit Dhs 1000/-. The deposit would be refundable when the passport is returned. Once the student is admitted and if he/she fails to maintain the G.P.A of 2.00, the college reserves the right not to renew his/her sponsorship.
