FIN 220 Financial Reporting and the Regulatory Framework 3 Credits
Prerequisite: Financial Accounting I This course introduces the concepts and theories in relation to financial reporting accounting standards. Student will learn to deal with situations that require capital structure changes of an organization and appreciate the reasons for production of consolidated financial statements.


FIN 230 Financial Management I 3 Credits
Prerequisite: Financial Accounting, Principles of Business Administration Financial Management exposes students to the fundamental areas of financial management and equips them with the skills to use the scarce financial resources of an organization productively to achieve its objectives. The course is aimed at ensuring a clear understanding of theories and institutional infrastructure of contemporary financial decision making and management. Built upon this, various financial tools for decision making will be introduced.
