Sociology introduces the basic concepts and principles in areas of contemporary sociology. The course studies the effect of social processes on individual behavior and society. Students will be able to view human behavior from the sociological perspective thereby observing those features which are common to all cultures and be able to assess them in the context of their own unique setting. It is a study of human groups, culture, the individual, human interaction and change.
