MATHS PLACEMENT TEST

The Math Placement test includes four components: Basic Numbers, Algebra and Geometry. The percentages for each component are 35%, 35% and 30% respectively. The students are not expected to learn new material before taking the exam but should review what they have previously learnt in the Math courses in high school. The test is so designed that it is easy enough to identify students requiring remedial help and at the same time complex enough to identify those students who are ready for College Algebra or Calculus.
