This Unit, originally named Student Development Unit has been renamed as Student Affairs Unit. The mission of this unit is to provide students with services, campus activities, and co-curricular programs that contribute to a valued collegiate, campus life experiences, intellectual and personal development that promote their success.
The Student Affairs Unit is responsible for planning and implementing support services which are essential to the educational, cultural, social, intellectual, and physical development of students. The department oversees the out of classroom activities for the students at ECMIT, including co-curricular programs, sports, student government, orientation, counseling, peer tutoring, career advising, placement, alumni affairs, and related student life services.
This office, in collaboration with student council leaders, develop plans and strategy for improvements and further developments in campus life.
