BTEC HND Diploma in Computing and Systems Development

The Edexcel BTEC HND Diploma in Computing and Systems Development offer a progression route to the professional qualifications offered by the British Computer Society (BCS). Edexcel BTEC Higher Nationals in Computing and Systems Development has been developed to focus on developing the knowledge, understanding and higher level skills of learners in computing and systems development techniques and attributes essential for education and training for a range of careers. Course Brief:

The course is made up of sixteen units (16) – 8 core units, which are mandatory, and 8 specialist units leading to the HND. Entry Criteria:

‘ O ’ levels, 10th grade equivalents (GED / CBSE / ICSE / WAEC / NECO /ISC/ HSC, Filipino Board

With the international recognition of BTEC courses, you can progress straight into employment or higher education. If successful there are a variety of potential careers that you can explore, all of which will benefit from your studies. Diploma holders can enter system management, install or manage IT networks. Learners focusing on software development can enter the many jobs available in that area.  Progression from this qualification may well be into or within employment in the IT and computing sectors where learners may work towards membership of the British Computer Society. The BTEC Level 5 HND Diploma will also enable learners to progress on to further study such as a degree or a Professional Development Qualification or vendor qualifications offered by Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, CompTIA, Oracle and VM Ware.
